Since first time I have visited Newport with my friends, it has been one of the favorite place to go. They have fine restaurants, seafood and great place to stay. I introduce my favorite places in Newport.

Chowder Bowl at New Port serves best clam chowder at Newport. Often seafood at Newport is overpriced and you will be disappointed by small portion. Chowder Bowl provides great food with great portion and great services. Grilled clams in there are huge and tasty. Clam chowder is amazing; it is one of the best clam chowder I have ever tasted in my life. Chowder is so rich and butter is on top.

Brewer’s on the Bay is located on Bay front of Newport. Bar/Restaurant is located inside of brewing factory. You can see bay from inside of restaurant. You can get drink and food from huge selection. It would be unforgettable memory spending time in this restaurant.

If you spend night at New Port I would recommend to stay place you can see ocean from your room. I stayed at Whaler Motel and Shilo Inn. Both of them you can see ocean from your room and rooms were clean. Depending your budgets you should choose which one you want to stay. Shilo Inn is usually cost more than Whaler Motel.

At winter time it is less crowded sometimes you can get exclusive offers or coupons. Newport is great place to spend time year around.
